Compound Movements

I have been training with compound movements in my own workouts and with my clients for over over 15 years. A compound movement is an exercise that recruits many muscle fibers and moves multiple joints.

Isolated movements such as, bicep curls and tricep push downs are not going to give you the biggest bang for your buck, or most beneficial health and aesthetic results in a given time.

What if I told you that moving with compound movements can reduce your time in the gym, create the biggest release of hormones such as growth hormone, endorphins, and testosterone, get you leaner and more muscular simultaneously, reduce over-training, and supply a more wholistic approach to strength training. These are just a few benefits of training in this fashion.

Compound movements make your ticker flush blood throughout your whole body simultaneously. The demand on multiple muscles creates a demand on your heart that supersedes any amount of cardio.

Compound movements create a demand on your core that will create a stronger and sexier midsection than any amount of core specific work. The axis of all movement is the middle (your core), so when you move upper and lower body in succession your abs act as the stabilizer. Use compound movements as your primary go to and you will have the abs of your dreams in no time.

I have only touched on the many benefits of training this way. The biggest benefit is the contagious and life changing energy and rush you can only FEEL if you decide to retire dinosaur isolated movements in favor of compound training. I can help you park your Buick of a workout in favor for my Ferrari approach. What are you waiting for?!
